Who can use this feature?
- Auto-refresh allows desktops/dashboards to reload modules every one minute, without action from end users.
- Users with Work Management access can enable Auto-Refresh on their desktops/dashboards.
- Users with TDAdmin access can enable Auto-Refresh on desktop/dashboard templates.
Enabling Auto-Refresh on Personal Dashboards
To enable Auto-Refresh on a dashboard:
- On the Work Management homepage, click Manage Dashboards.
- Select the dashboard you want to edit.
- Click Edit Dashboard Settings (gear icon).
- Enable Auto-Refresh.
- Click Save.
Enabling Auto-Refresh on Dashboard Templates
Enabling Auto-Refresh on a dashboard template will automatically apply Auto-Refresh to any linked desktops/dashboards you've shared with users.
To check if a desktop/dashboard you shared is linked to the template, check the user's Dashboard table in TDAdmin.
To enable Auto-Refresh on a dashboard template:
- In the TDAdmin navigation menu, click Dashboard Templates > Dashboard Templates.
- Select the dashboard template you want to edit.
- On the Edit Dashboard toolbar, click Edit Dashboard Settings (gear icon).
- Enable Auto-Refresh.
- Click Save.
