Who can use this feature?
- Available in the Client Portal Knowledge Base
- License Requirement: Client or higher
- Application Access: User must have access to the specific Client Portal application containing the Knowledge Base
- Application Security Role must include View Knowledge Base permission
Users with access to a Client Portal's knowledge base can subscribe to updates for the categories and articles they are permitted to view.
Updates that Trigger Notifications
Here are the types of updates that trigger notifications to go out:
- Article Notifications:
- When the article is published
- When a revision is published
- When the published revision is changed
- Category Notifications
- When new articles are published in the category
- When an article revision is published in the category
- When a published article revision in the category is changed
How to Subscribe and Unsubscribe
To subscribe to an article or category:
- In the Knowledge Base, navigate to the article/category you want to subscribe to
- Click the Subscribe button
To unsubscribe from an article or category:
- In the Knowledge Base, navigate to the article/category you want to subscribe to
- Click the Unsubscribe button
